Mary Mike Pavoni, MS, RHIA, FAHIMA,
of Westchester, IL, died on October 21.
An HIM graduate of the College of St.
Scholastica, Duluth MN, Pavoni also earned
a MS degree in Organization Development
from Benedictine University Lisle, IL.
Pavoni served as the Director of HIM in
several large hospitals in MN, MI, and IL.
She was a past board member of AHIMA
(1993–96), a Fellow of AHIMA, and was
honored with an AHIMA Triumph Award
in 2003. She was also past president of the
Illinois Health Information Management
